Vegan Recipe


Eaten with rice and curry and is also part of the traditional Keralite sadhya. Om So Hum.

fry in coconut oil

  • 1 tbsp mustard seed
  • 1 tbsp chopped ginger
  • 1 tbsp curry leafs


  • 1 handful of chopped cabbage
  • 1 handful ground coconut

steam under closed lid with

  • 3 tbsp water


  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp salt

roast on low flame until brown
