Dal Fry

Dal. It does not get more basic Indian than that. Hari Om Tat Sat.

(pressure) cook

  • dal
  • turmeric powder
  • salt

separately heat

  • 5 tbsp sunflower oil

to fry

  • 2 tbsp chopped garlic
  • 4 tbsp chopped onion
  • 1 handful chopped tomato
  • 2 handful precooked dal


  • water as necessary
  • fresh coriander leaves
