Dumplings

Oh, sweet dough!

first soak

  • 3 tsp Chia or Flax Seed
  • half cup of warm water

melt

  • 100g Coconut fat

add, heat until luke warm

  • 250ml Rice/Oat/Nut Milk
  • 100g Sugar
  • pinch of salt

desolve

  • 40g fresh bakers yeast
  • the seeds (after blending)

in a big bowl kneed

  • 500g flour
  • the liquids

let the covered dough sit for 30min in a warm spot. Add flour if the dough is too sticky. Form smooth egg sized balls by rolling pieces of dough in your hand. Place them on a flour sprinkled towel and cover them as they raise another 30min. Pour 1l water in pot with large diameter. Tie a towel over the top on which you place the dumplings. Cover with a tall glass lid or a bowl. Steam every batch for 15min.

Serve with apple or vanilla sauce, plum jam or any other jam you like. decorate with seseme seeds if your feeling fancy. enjoy!
