The cities beach promenade with hot pool by the Black Sea!
In and around Varna are many thermal springs to be found, some with hotel spa, some free for the public. Most notable is the pool “toplata voda” at the beach promanade just north of the center of town.
There is also two more places in St. Konstantin and Elena on the beach. One of them has hot water pouring during the daytime into a pond, but is turned of at night for some inexplicable reason. The other is just being spilled on the side of the beach.
Toplata voda, Varna, Bulgaria: Not many city tours sport a free hot bath at the seaside. Enjoy the local scene with a hand full of tourists. Come here pre-dressed, to avoid the grimy changing rooms. – bert
